Back to paper and, almost compulsorily, back to filigrees.
A small Birthday card for a friend who just got 40.


Walnut stain and ferro-gallic ink on paper.
It was far too easy, I got to find new challenges or I will soon get back to my engravings on slate/metal.

    Hello! I see you are using a watercolour type paper, how do you prevent the ink from bleeding please?

    Hello,
    Usually, there's nothing specific to do. If the paper is dry, the ink does not bleed.
    You can try to add some gum arabic in your ink to make it stickier.
